Sharing Client-Specific Campaign Views
This guide should only be used if the user has created Client-Specific Campaign Views in Advvy. To find out how to create this type of view, please see our help guide here.
This guide focuses on how to share a view you’ve already created with a team member or an entire team. It’s very useful for managers who want to create specific views for their team.
Scenario: Team members work across four different clients, but not often. A specific team group works across two clients most often. After one team member creates a view of the two client’s campaigns, they can use this guide to share the view they created with others on the team.
How to Share this view with other people
To Share this view continue the following steps from Advanced find:
- Go to Campaigns and select your personal view from the ‘My Views’ list.
- Once the custom view list is displayed, select the Advanced Find icon that looks like a filter on the top right of your screen.
- The Advanced Find dialog box will appear with all your custom views on display.
- Check the views you want to share
- Click share towards the top of the screen
- In the common tasks box, select Add User/Team
- A search box will appear, search for the user or client team you want to share the view with. Note: If you want to share the view with a team, you need to select “Team” from the “Look for” drop down menu.
- After selecting the user or team, select the permissions they will have. We recommend sharing a view with only the “Read” box checked.
- Available permissions are as follows: Read = the view is read only, Write = the view is editable, Delete = users can delete the view (deleting the view means it disappears for everyone), Assign = users can assign the view, Share = users can share the view.
- Click Share.
- Inform the user or team you shared the view with that you have done so. The view will automatically appear in the Campaigns section in the drop down menu.
