Reporting Pillars are used to collect data from workflow stages across different campaigns and workflows. It allows users to compare high-level performance metrics, even if the workflows are different. As long as the workflows connect to the same Reporting Pillars, the data can be compared.
Whenever you create a new workflow and therefore a new stage in Advvy, you must link that stage to an existing Reporting Pillar in Advvy.
To create a new Reporting Pillar, follow these steps:
- Go to the Agency Settings section.
- In the Workflow section, click on Reporting Pillars.
- Click the +New button on the top of the screen.
- Enter a name for your Reporting Pillar, we recommend using very broad topics, such as Reporting, Planning, or Booking. This is because you’re bucketing a lot of data from across different campaigns into the same Reporting Pillars for comparison. If the Reporting Pillars are too granular, there may not be opportunities to compare.
- Enter a Workflow Type, this is where you can select what type of workflow this Reporting Pillar will be associated with. Users can select either Campaign, Project, or Master Brief.
- Sort Order in most cases will defaults to the correct number, if you’re unhappy with the Reporting Pillars placement in the Reporting Pillars section you can change the sort order number.
- You can also select a color that could use to color-code your Reporting Pillar.
- When all this information is entered, click Save and Close.
Your new Reporting Pillar is now created.
If you want to manage an existing Reporting Pillar, follow these steps:
- Go to Agency Settings.
- Go to Reporting Pillar in the Workflow
- Click on an existing Reporting Pillar.
Note: Keep in mind toward the bottom of the screen there will be a stages box. In this box, you can see all of the stages that are connected to this Reporting Pillar. It’s an important resource to be aware of if you are ever unsure of which stages point to which Reporting Pillars.
When you click in the Reporting Pillar section Advvy defaults to the Active Media Workflow Reporting Pillars section, but the title of the section acts as a drop-down menu the user can use to review any Inactive Media Workflow Reporting Pillars.
