The Portal Access Field and Client and Agency assigned tasks
The Portal Access field appears in the Admin tab of campaigns and at the Task or Subtask level of a workflow. The field has two options: Agency and Client. Both of these options cause tasks to appear in the client portal, however they indicate who is responsible for completing the task. If a task is marked as Agency then the task will appear in the client portal, but the client cannot mark the task as complete (because the task is the agency’s responsibility). If a task is marked as Client, then the client can mark the task as complete.
Quick definitions:
Agency – Read only, tasks marked as Agency will appear in the client portal, but they cannot be edited.
Client – Actionable, tasks marked as Client will appear in the client portal and allows the client to mark them as complete.
Note: In both situations the client can leave notes on tasks, these notes cannot be edited or deleted once they’ve been posted.
