Campaign Briefs in the Client Portal

One of the features of the Client Advvy Portal is the client can brief digitally to their agency, sending briefs from the portal directly into Advvy. This means that a client can create a campaign brief in the client portal and that same campaign brief will appear automatically in Advvy so that the agency can turn it into a campaign.

A client can create a Campaign Brief in the client portal by following these steps:

  1. Login to the Advvy Client Portal.
  2. Click on the Campaign Briefs
  3. Click the blue Create button towards the right of the screen.
  4. Enter all of the required information. (The required information has a red * next to the field name).

The required fields are nameresponse due daterating and client.

  • The name is the title of the campaign brief.
  • The response due date is when users would like to hear back from their agency regarding the proposed campaign.
  • The rating is a rating system of gold, silver, or bronze, which is meant to reflect the complexity of the campaign.
  • The Client field will only have one selection, which is the name of the client using the portal.
  1. After users enter the required information, you can add more information as needed.
  2. Click save and next.
  3. Users will be prompted to add any files to the campaign.

Note: You do not have to add any files or additional documents to the campaign brief.

  1. Click Submit.
  2. The campaign brief has been created.

After the campaign brief is created it automatically appears in Advvy in the campaign brief section.

Client portal users can edit the campaign brief until it’s converted into a campaign in Advvy.

To view your campaign brief go to the campaign brief section and you will see your new campaign brief listed under the active campaign briefs section.

To edit or deactivate your campaign brief:

  1. Go to the Campaign Briefs section
  2. Locate the brief to edit from the list
  3. Click the drop-down menu which looks like a small arrow pointing downward” to the right of the screen and click edit.
  4. To deactivate your campaign click Deactivatefrom the drop-down menu.

If you deactivate a brief, you can find your deactivated briefs in the Inactivated Briefs section. You can navigate to this section by clicking on the Active Campaign Briefs drop-down menu in the campaign briefs section of the portal and selecting Inactive Campaign Briefs.

As mentioned before if the campaign brief has already been converted to a campaign you cannot deactivate the brief.

You can also view the details of your campaign brief by selecting the drop-down menu that looks like a small arrow to the right of the campaign brief and clicking view details.

Note: Keep in mind you can add files or update the campaign brief information before the brief is converted into a campaign. When the brief is converted into a campaign it will disappear from the campaign brief section. Users can find the newly created campaign in the Campaign section of the portal.

To locate a campaign brief in Advvy, follow these steps:

Important: Only users with access to Advvy will be able to locate a Campaign Brief in Advvy, clients will not be able to complete these steps.

  1. Go to the Advvy Workflow tool.
  2. In Advvy, go to the Campaign Briefs
  3. Select the campaign brief you have created.
  4. On the top ribbon bar click Convertto Campaign.
  5. Select a media workflow definition you would like to add to this campaign.
  6. Add any additional details as necessary and click Save.
  7. Click save, the campaign brief will now be converted from a campaign brief to a campaign.
