Master Data: Partner
FOR ADMINISTRATORS ONLY
Networks, Mediums, Partner Agencies, Other Suppliers
Partner Master Data consists of two primary entities (Networks and Mediums) and two minor address book entities (Partner Agencies and Other Suppliers)
The Media entity hierarchy diagram below shows the relationship between Networks and Mediums in Advvy.
Networks
- The Networks Entity can be used as a Publisher or other provider of services that is related to one or more Mediums.
- Networks can exist as a single entity or may have a Parent Network entity if another level needs to be defined for the network
Mediums
- The Medium Entity is usually defined as the publication, station, title or website etc.
- Mediums must have a related Media Type. (Mandatory)
- Mediums can also include other data relationships such as Market, Market Type, Media Sub-type, Network and Language. (Optional)
- Mediums need to have a unique name.
- Use Alias Names if there are multiple names for the same “Medium”. see below.
Alias Names
The Medium Entity includes the ability to add Alias Names to the record. This is to allow matching of variations of a single medium to be matched when syncing a Media Plan.
Advvy requires an exact match from your media plan to the entity its related to. So if a planner enters a Medium name that is different to the exact record in Advvy it won’t find a match, unless all the variations are included in the Alias Name.
eg the Medium Name = “The Sydney Morning Herald”, and Alias Names can be “Sydney Morning Herald” and “SMH”.
When an Alias is used in a media plan, it will be resolved in Advvy as the main Medium Name.
Partner Agencies
- The Partner Agency entity is a contact list that will act like an address book for agencies to use.
Other Suppliers
- The Other Suppliers entity is a contact list that will act like an address book for agencies to use.
